Organizational Assessments

Potentials provides assessments for business units, departments and whole systems for a wide range of challenges--from significant organizational initiatives, changing cultures, diversity related issues, resistance to change and low productivity.

Potentials assists clients in assessing and addressing challenges, particularly those related to people issues. Employing interviews, focus groups, observation, surveys and review of systems, processes and other information, Potentials helps to identify blocks to achieving desired goals, while supporting organizations, departments and teams in developing strategies for success.

Once critical barriers are identified, creative problem solving can begin. By identifying the core underlying assumptions that influence organizational behaviors, it is possible to determine and implement interventions to achieve the desired vision.

Assessments are customized to best meet the needs of the specific organization. However, they can include the following:

  • Establish leadership commitment and support
  • Form an assessment team
  • Review archival and systems data
  • Conduct interviews and focus groups with stakeholders
