Effective Communication Training

Communicating for Productive and Satisfying Relationships

The fundamental challenge of any work environment is learning how to produce results. This training program supports individuals in "getting things done" together.

Since each of us naturally filters everything we experience through our own unique backgrounds and perceptions of the world, judgment is inherently present in every human interaction. Without an awareness of this human condition, we often misinterpret what we experience, yet regard our interpretation as indisputable fact. In the workplace, this can translate into misunderstandings, disputes, and lost opportunities that compromises morale, productivity, and the bottom line.

Training participants learn the OASIS process, a proven multicultural communication model that has been developed through research and experience. This simple, profound approach to communication instills hope and confidence, while capitalizing on what we all do naturally and effortlessly in our positive, effective interactions.

The workshop is facilitated by a "coach/trainer" who actively models the skills being developed. The program is based on effective adult learning methods and includes significant practice, demonstrations, videos and exercises to enhance awareness and learning. Training can be custom designed to support achievement of specific organization goals. Follow-up is built in to reinforce use of the skills.
